ScottishPower has formalized a £1bn turbine supply agreement with Siemens Gamesa for the development of the £4bn East Anglia TWO offshore windfarm. Siemens Gamesa will supply 64 SG 14-236 DD offshore wind turbines, capable of generating up to 960MW of green electricity.
