Description
Sage Geosystems, a company specializing in geothermal innovation, has partnered with the San Miguel Electric Cooperative to build the first geopressured geothermal system. This new technology can be combined with solar and wind energy to provide 24-hour power generation or to shift clean energy sources from low-demand to high-demand periods, thereby stabilizing the utility grid. The facility is set to be commissioned in December.
