Description
Rhode Island has secured a $95.6 million Infrastructure for Rebuilding America (INFRA) federal grant to replace the westbound Washington Bridge, connecting East Providence to Providence. This grant, along with a previous $125.39 million MEGA grant, fully funds the bridge project, which includes demolition and design-build processes. The bridge is expected to be completed by December 2025.
