Description
The European Space Agency has awarded Avio two contracts worth a total of €350 million to boost the launch cadence of Vega C and to complete the development of the company’s next-gen Vega E rocket. The Vega E rocket is expected to be introduced in 2027 and is designed to deliver payloads of up to three tonnes to low Earth orbit, representing a 30% increase in payload capacity compared to its predecessor, Vega C.
