Portland Opportunities Industrialization Center (POIC) is collaborating with TriMet, Portland State University (PSU), Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU), and other groups to ensure downtown safety and revitalization. With funding from the federal Bureau of Justice Assistance and state funds allocated through Kotek's downtown task force, POIC is expanding its community safety work and supporting individuals impacted by community violence through prevention and intervention.
