Peraton has been awarded a $249 million task order to provide Long-Range Sub Orbital Vehicles (LSOV) to the Naval Surface Warfare Center Port Hueneme Division. The contract includes the design, development, and manufacture of various multi-stage, long-range sub-orbital rocket configurations, associated ground test hardware, specialized test equipment, and rocket launcher maintenance and refurbishment. The rocket vehicles will be launched from land, sea, or air at various locations throughout the world to provide a test bed for enhancing development of the nation’s missile defense and hypersonic mission capabilities.
