OraSure Technologies, Inc. has received a contract award from the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA) worth approximately $7.5 million to develop a rapid antigen test for Marburg Virus Disease (MVD). The funding supports the development of a single-use lateral flow immunoassay designed to aid in the containment of future Marburg virus outbreaks.
