Description
Nuctech, a state-controlled Chinese company, has won two tenders in September to provide cargo scanning equipment to Italy’s Customs and Monopolies Agency, totaling more than €15 million in European Union funds. Despite being investigated for possible violations of the bloc’s foreign subsidies regulations, Nuctech secured the contracts based on its technical offer and commitment to faster delivery and installation of the equipment.
