NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam (NVVN) has awarded contracts to Kirloskar Solar Technologies and Oriana Power to develop ground-mounted and rooftop solar projects valuing a total of ₹2.08 billion (~$24.62 million). The projects will be set up in various states of India, including Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Kerala, Gujarat, Assam, Bihar, Jharkhand, and West Bengal. The developers are required to complete the projects within specific timeframes and operate and maintain them for three years.
