Northrop Grumman Corporation has been awarded a 3-year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract valued at $197.5 million from the United States Navy for continued manufacturing of the FMU-139D/B fuze for the United States Navy, Air Force, and multiple allied nations. The contract also includes options for D-1, D-2, and D-5 trainer fuzes as well as accessories for the FMU-139D/B. Northrop Grumman will continue manufacturing the FMU-139D/B Fuze at the Allegany Ballistics Laboratory in West Virginia, utilizing a unique process that is over 70% automated.
