Description
MOROCCAN National Railways (ONCF) has awarded a contract worth Dirhams 2.32bn ($US 232m) to Chinese construction and civil engineering company Gezhouba Group for civil engineering work on the 375km Kénitra - Marrakech high-speed line. The contract includes the construction of viaducts over several rivers and is part of the efforts to open the high-speed line in time for Morocco co-hosting the 2030 Fifa football World Cup with Spain and Portugal.
