Micro-X awarded $12.5 million contract to develop portable full body CT scanner

Micro-X Inc has secured a development contract worth $12.5 million and up to $25 million with ARPA-H to create a novel lightweight and ruggedised CT scanner. The first phase of the contract involves payments of US$8.2 million (A$12.5 million) over a two-year period, with the possibility of extensions based on technical objectives.
