Merck and Orion announced the mutual exercise of an option to convert their ongoing co-development and co-commercialization agreement for opevesostat, an investigational CYP11A1 inhibitor, into an exclusive global license for Merck. This will allow Merck to advance the clinical development program for opevesostat and address the needs of patients living with prostate cancer.
