Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Maaden) has recently awarded three contracts worth 3.5 billion Saudi riyals ($922 million) to construct its third phosphate fertiliser manufacturing project. The contracts include general construction works at Ras Al Khair and Wa’ad Al Shamal, which were awarded to China National Chemical Engineering Company, Sinopec Nanjing Engineering & Construction, and Tekfen Construction and Installation Company.
