The Long Island Power Authority (LIPA) has awarded a $20 million contract for power and fuel supply management, previously held by a PSEG affiliate, to The Energy Authority (TEA). The new five-year contract with TEA will start at the beginning of 2026, marking the first time in more than a decade that LIPA has contracted with a company other than PSEG for management services.
