Description

Lithium Americas announced the closing of a $250 million investment from Orion Resource Partners for the development and construction of Phase 11 of the Thacker Pass lithium project in Humboldt County, Nevada. This investment also satisfied the equity capital fundraising requirements from the U.S. Department of Energy and General Motors Holdings LLC for the Thacker Pass joint venture partners.
