Description

The Federal Office of Bundeswehr Equipment, Information Technology and In-Service Support (BAAINBw) has awarded a EUR 1.98 billion contract to ArGe D-LBO, a consortium led by Rheinmetall and KNDS Deutschland, to modernise the German Army's vehicle systems. The project, known as “Digitalisation of Land-Based Operations” (D-LBO), aims to equip 10,000 combat and support vehicles with advanced digital radio and command-and-control systems, significantly enhancing the Bundeswehr's operational capabilities.
