The Dallas City Council has approved more than $47 million in architectural and engineering design service contracts for the third and fourth components of the $3.7 billion redevelopment of the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center Dallas. The contracts include a $25 million contract for construction and renovations at Dallas Memorial Arena awarded to Gensler and a $22 million contract for the reconstruction of the Black Academy of Arts and Letters awarded to KAI Design.
