Intel has finalized an agreement with the U.S. Department of Commerce to receive $7.86 billion in direct funding under the U.S. CHIPS Act. This funding will support Intel’s $100 billion investment plans to expand American semiconductor manufacturing and technology leadership, including projects in Arizona, New Mexico, Ohio, and Oregon.
