Description
Rhode Island Attorney General Peter Neronha announced that the investigation into a $5 million contract awarded to ILO, a company with ties to an adviser by Governor Dan McKee's team in 2021, will not lead to criminal charges. The contract was intended to assist in fully reopening schools during the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite findings that suggest the contract process was influenced, there was not enough evidence of a prosecutable crime.
