Description

The Jammu and Kashmir Anti Corruption Bureau has filed a case against the former chief engineer and others over corruption charges relating to the award of payments in the construction of Mughal Road from Bufliaz to Shopian-Pulwama. The former chief engineer and the company allegedly admitted claims which led to huge financial loss to the government exchequer. The investigation revealed irregularities in the contract and supplementary agreements, as well as unauthorized interactions between the former chief engineer and the company representatives.
