HII's Newport News Shipbuilding has been awarded contracts worth $76.6 billion by the U.S. Navy for constructing Block VI Virginia-class and Build II Columbia-class submarines. The contract includes the delivery of six Virginia-class submarines and support for constructing five additional Columbia-class submarines.
