Description
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement has awarded GEO Group Inc. a 15-year contract worth $1 billion to detain up to 1,000 immigrants in New Jersey. This expansion is the first under the Trump administration’s plans for mass deportations, and the detention center will be the largest on the East Coast.
