The Maharashtra government has awarded a contract worth Rs 119.50 crore to Generic Engineering Construction And Projects Ltd for the construction of a 13-storey Maharashtra Bhavan, also called ‘Bhakta Niwas’, in Ayodhya. The Bhavan is intended to provide accommodations for devotees from Maharashtra and is expected to be completed within three years.
