Description
Geely Auto Group and Tasco Joint Stock Company have agreed to establish a joint venture for automobile assembly and distribution in Việt Nam. The $168 million investment will lead to the construction of a 75,000 vehicles per year capacity plant in the Tiền Hải Economic Zone, Thái Bình Province. The partnership also aims to officially distribute Geely Auto vehicles in Việt Nam, with the introduction of the Geely Coolray, and to explore exporting vehicles to markets with free trade agreements with Việt Nam.
