Frontier Airlines Terminates Aircraft Leases Ahead of Schedule

On August 25, 2026, Frontier Airlines, Inc. entered into an agreement to terminate leases for 13 A320neo aircraft that were scheduled to run for another six to seven years. This Early Return Agreement will allow the company to return these aircraft in the second half of 2026. The termination is expected to reduce the company's operating lease liabilities by approximately $260 million and eliminate significant maintenance costs that would have been incurred during the remaining lease term.
