Forefront RF, a UK fabless semiconductor company based in Cambridge, has closed a £16 million Series A funding round with existing investors BGF and Foresight Group, and new VC partners Octopus Ventures and Cambridge Innovation Capital. The funds will be used to support the company’s work to enable mobile devices to better manage complex RF environments and transition to a mature player in RF technology, preparing for the 2026 launch of its first-generation product, the FFM51010, intended for the cellular-enabled smartwatch market.
