The Federal Aviation Administration has awarded contracts worth $1.44 billion to four vendors to provide air traffic control services for approximately 264 Visual Flight Rules airports in the U.S., Puerto Rico, Guam, Saipan, and the U.S. Virgin Islands as part of the FAA Contract Tower program (FCT). The contracts have one 14-month base performance period and six option years, covering 10 areas with one area set aside for a small business.
