Description

The German parliament's Defence Committee has approved a new addendum to the OCCAR contract, exercising the 3rd consecutive option for 25,000 binoculars equipped with Photonis image intensifier tubes, with the potential for an additional order of a similar size. The contract amendment is scheduled to be signed on 20 December 2024 in Bonn, Germany, and the additional devices are expected to be delivered to Germany by 2026. The selected image intensifiers have been recognized for their performance and quality on the battlefield by major European countries and NATO forces.
