Elk Grove Village trustees have awarded two contracts totaling more than $9 million for engineering and construction of a pedestrian bridge over Arlington Heights Road into Busse Woods. The construction is expected to begin this spring and be completed by April 30, 2026. The village is paying for the bridge with tax increment financing district (TIF) funds.
