The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested Saurabh Prasad, the divisional railway manager of the East Coast Railway's Waltair Division, for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 25 lakh from the owner of a private company. The alleged bribe was in exchange for reducing penalties for under-performance in awarded contracts and the clearance of bills worth Rs 3.17 crore.
