Chemist and inventor Christopher Vickers has taken legal action against Creekmont Ltd, alleging that the company, in partnership with businessman John McCann, is attempting to claim ownership over Vickers' revolutionary formulation for cement-free concrete products. Vickers, who previously invested €420,000 in Creekmont Ltd, asserts that after discovering the groundbreaking formula, he was excluded from the business when he refused to accept a reduced share of just 30 per cent. The High Court has granted a temporary injunction in Vickers' favor, restraining Creekmont Ltd from disclosing or publishing confidential information related to the cement-free formulation.
