CoreCivic has confirmed that the Prairie Correctional Facility in Appleton, Minnesota will be utilized by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement under a new contract. The five-year contract is set to begin on August 11, 2023, marking the facility's reactivation after being idle since 2010.
