Description
Chicago Scholars partnered with the SBB Research Group Foundation for an Onsite event at the Hyatt Hotel at McCormick Place, bringing together over 500 high school students from all of Chicago’s 77 neighborhoods to provide them with access to higher education opportunities. The event facilitated 2,993 interviews, resulted in 548 same-day admission offers, and awarded $36.7 million in merit scholarships. A recent grant from the SBB Research Group Foundation will enable Chicago Scholars to purchase laptops for students to use during application workshops and college prep programs.
