Chemify, a University of Glasgow spinout founded in 2022, has secured £22m in grants from Scottish Enterprise and the UK government to support its expansion. The funding will facilitate the trebling of Chemify's Scottish workforce from approximately 150 to 450 employees over the next three years. The company uses robots and AI technology, known as chemputation, to discover new medicines and materials. Chemify has already raised over £100m from blue-chip investors and is building a series of 'chemifarms' to accelerate drug and materials discovery.
