Description
CHC Ireland DAC, the current operator of the search-and-rescue contract for the Irish Coast Guard, has reported a pre-tax loss of €8.74m after failing to secure the new 10-year contract worth €800m. The company's revenue dipped as it lost out to Bristow, a US group. CHC Ireland also received a capital contribution of €10m from its parent firm after reporting a shareholders' deficit of €5.19m.
