Description

CapitaLand Investment Limited (CLI) has strategically acquired the property and corporate credit investment management business of Wingate Group Holdings (Wingate) for A$200 million (S$173 million) plus an earn-out. This acquisition will allow CLI to expand its private credit business and its portfolio in Australia, enlarging its proprietary deal origination networks, enhancing its access to more institutional and private high-net-worth investors, and increasing its geographical exposure to Australia.
