Description
Alstom, a global leader in smart and sustainable mobility, has signed a framework agreement with Hamburger Hochbahn AG worth up to €2.8 billion for the delivery of new metro trains and innovative signaling technology. The contract covers the delivery of up to 374 new metro trains, both fully and semi-automated, as well as equipping the 25 km long and fully automated new metro line U5 with innovative train-centric CBTC1 system Urbalis.
