Description
The Alabama Port Authority has awarded a $20 million contract to Richmond Engineering for stacker reclaimer work at the McDuffie Coal Terminal, as part of the $200 million coal terminal modernization project. The new, more efficient equipment will enable nearly double loading speeds, which aligns with the upcoming deepening and widening project that will allow bigger ships to access the port by mid-2025.
