Description

Aker Solutions has secured a contract to provide technical services for the expansion of Norway's Northern Lights Phase 2 carbon capture project, which is a joint venture between Equinor, Shell, and TotalEnergies. The contract involves engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of onshore facilities, with an estimated value between $142 million and $237 million. Aker Solutions has previously worked on the initial phase of the project in 2024 and will commence project execution in the second half of this year.
