Description
Australian-based technology company Acusensus has been awarded a five-year, $22.9 million contract to provide six new safety camera trailers. The safety cameras, expected to be the most advanced in the country, will have the capability of detecting multiple offences simultaneously, including speeding, illegal mobile phone use, and the improper use of seat belts. The cameras are expected to commence operation in early 2025 and will complement the existing fleet of automated speed cameras operated by the WA Police Force.
