8 Rivers Capital, LLC has secured an investment from JX Nippon Oil Exploration (U.S.A.) Limited for the first commercial deployment of the Calcite Direct Air Capture (DAC) technology. The funding will support the deployment of 8 Rivers' Calcite DAC solution, with a focus on Project Cardinal in the U.S. Gulf Coast and additional technology derisking at Calcite’s pilot project in Mobile, AL.
