Description

Eleven Boston and Cambridge institutions have formed a partnership known as the Consortium for Climate Solutions to invest in renewable energy projects, specifically the construction of 408 MW of new renewable energy. The projects aim to reduce reliance on fossil fuels, support a more resilient electricity grid, and collectively generate clean power equal to the electricity use of 130,000 U.S. homes for each year of the 15-year duration of the contracts.
