(“P&G”), a third-generation family business with more than 100 employees that specializes in oil and gas plugging and abandonment operations in New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia. Zefiro expects this acquisition to position the Company to realize a strategy that includes being an integrated abandonment company for the oil and gas industry, decommissioning harmful abandoned wells as well as measuring, quantifying, and abating methane emissions, which affect the earth’s ecosystem in addition to the local communities in which orphaned and abandoned wells are located. With millions of such wells across the United States, in 2022 the Department of the Interior allocated USD $4.7 billion in funding to help plug orphaned oil and gas wells1.
