Description

Iberdrola SA, a Spanish multinational electric utility company, has completed the acquisition of the remaining 18.4 percent shares of its U.S. subsidiary Avangrid Inc., assuming full ownership of the renewable power producer. With this acquisition, Iberdrola aims to invest more efficiently in the United States, particularly in new energy infrastructure projects, strengthening and expanding its presence in the renewable energy sector.
