Description

BWX Technologies, Inc. has entered into a definitive agreement to sell its medical business to Nordic Capital for up to $800 million. BWXT will retain a minority ownership stake in the new entity focusing on radiopharmaceuticals. This transaction enables BWXT to focus resources on its core nuclear markets while providing Nordic Capital the opportunity to scale the medical business. The deal is expected to close by the end of 2026, pending regulatory approvals.
