There is no way for a founder to pitch HSBC Asset Management directly. Its venture activity sits inside the alternatives platform as a venture capital fund of funds, so the primary relationship is with VC fund managers, not founders, and direct company investments are selective co-investments alongside those funds. The corporate site offers only institutional and regional contact forms for investors and clients, which are not pitch routes. Practical route in: raise from a GP that HSBC Asset Management backs as an LP and ask that GP to bring HSBC in as a co-investor.

Worth knowing. This is an LP-first fund of funds, so almost all direct company exposure comes as co-investment in rounds already led by someone else. Model ML, for example, was already a $75m Series A company backed by QED, LocalGlobe and Y Combinator before HSBC came in. Do not expect them to lead or to price a round, and note the strategy skews to financial services and enterprise AI relevant to HSBC.
