Worth knowing. Eligibility is hard gated: you must be commercialising IP licensed or assigned from the University of Melbourne or be a researcher, student, staff member, honorary or alumnus of the University or an affiliated medical research institute or hospital, and you normally need to have already had Pathfinder or Proof of Concept style translation funding from the University. It is a $15m fund co-funded with Breakthrough Victoria, so Victorian activity matters, and up to 20 percent is ring fenced for social purpose enterprises that can repay the investment.
