Worth knowing. Hard eligibility gates that have nothing to do with how good the company is: it must be headquartered and controlled in Ireland with a management team residing in Ireland, be under five years old, sit in manufacturing or internationally traded services, and be capable of 10 jobs in Ireland and 1 million euro in annual sales within three years. The Pre-Seed Start Fund also expects you to be an existing or potential client of the HPSU unit, so the adviser relationship comes before the money, and it is a convertible loan note rather than equity.
