For anything outside those theses, including large AI and frontier model rounds like Anthropic, there is no public route and you need a warm introduction to the relevant Amazon or AWS corporate development team.

Worth knowing. These funds are strategic, not financial. The Climate Pledge Fund states it backs technology that helps Amazon reach net zero by 2040, and the Industrial Innovation Fund is aimed at Amazon's own warehouse and supply chain operations, so a plausible path to being an Amazon supplier or partner matters more than pure market size. Both invest across stages from early startup to established company, so lack of a defined round stage is not a blocker. Also weigh the strategic-investor conflict: taking Amazon money can complicate later fundraising or customer relationships with Amazon competitors.
